Beyond Organix is designed by leading lighting scientists and application engineers. Our team has decades of experience in the disciplines of lighting, engineering, plasma science, controlled environment agriculture, and more. Our team knew at the very beginning of these technologies, that a digital lamp must be made to match the digital ballast, so they created some of the first digital HID lamps in the world, which we consider to be old technology. Three years ago our Beyond Organix Team launched several future farm systems and we have taking on projects since October 2009.

What sets us apart is that we’re plant scientists who make lighting and other products for plants. Other companies make lighting for human vision and products for human convenience, not for the living thing underneath them. We didn’t invent the science, we just reference it. We know that life on Earth has evolved with the Sun, it’s an indisputable fact. As human beings we don’t get to re-invent the process of photosynthesis and evolution, we can only mimic that light as best as possible. We have replicated sunlight digitally, the best humans can make for plants and other living things.h
Why digital vs bulb lighting?
The Sun is high frequency. If we want to make artificial light behave more like natural Sunlight then we need to create artificial light with high frequency. Digital lighting makes for a higher quality of light that’s good for all living things… if you have the proper lamp and ballast combination. Like a speaker and an amplifier, having compatible lamps and ballasts is critical to getting the most of the light you pay money to make. Don’t buy H.I.D. lamps and electronic ballasts that aren’t a matched set! Buying mismatched components creates hardware conflicts that cause premature failures. This is why we have a “certification” process for electronic ballasts, to ensure that consumers get a proper working matched set that won’t fail before its time.

Smart Greenhouse Platform

C360°’s PlasterMaxis a LEED-qualified interior wall coating, was listed as a green building material by Architectural Record and selected by BUILDER News magazine as a Best Products 2007 Winner. The Greenguard Environmental Institute (GEI) certified C360° PlasterMax as a Low-Emitting Listed Product. “The Greenguard Environmental Institute is an industry-independent, non-profit organization that oversees the Greenguard Certification Program SM. As an ANSI Authorized Standards Developer, GEI establishes acceptable indoor air standards for indoor products, environments, and buildings.”
In 2007, Popular Mechanics magazine awarded Best in Green Design to panels made with C360°’s hydraulic cement and waste materials. On February 14, 2008, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) challenged the home building trade to construct 220,000 “high-performance” homes by 2012 that score 70 or lower on the EnergySmart Home Scale. To qualify as high performance, a home must use 30%-or-less energy than a typical new home built per the 2006 International Energy Conservation Code. In early 2009, Next Gen 09 LLC, in partnership with the DOE Builders Challenge program, built a high-performance 5,200-square-foot (480 m2) demonstration home outside Las Vegas, Nevada. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that C360° PlasterMax was used as the interior wall finish of that high-performance Las Vegas home.
